Two Dimension Manufacturing has taken our production / services into 5 major stages, which can be categorized as followed:

1. Pre-Mastering

The company receives intellectual property content in the form of Betacam tapes, DLT tapes from the customers. Then, the company encodes this content and converts the encoded movie clips into a mastering CD by using encoding machines. This process takes approximately as twice as actual time of each movie.Then, the mastering CD will be checked for quality and sounds once more before it’s taken to make a stamper. However, for DVD pre-mastering, it will take much longer than pre-mastering a CD as there will be DVD Authoring, subtitle making, and sounds encoding involved



2. Pressing

After the pre-mastering process is finished, the actual production begins at this stage. The stamper is loaded into the machine mould and the polycarbonate is melted and pressed into the mould. This process is where we get the clear substrates. Then, the metallization and lacquer take place to varnish the CDs. During this stage, there will be a randomly QC the discs to ensure the quality of the discs meet the international standard requirements.



3. Printing

This process is continuous from the pressing process. There are 2 types of printing CDs, which are silk screening and offset printing. This process is customized according to the customer’s requirement. After finished printing, all the products will go to Final QC to check every finished discs to meet the standard requirements.



4. Packing

After the raw discs passed the quality checking, they are then transferred to the packing section. The company provides various sorts of CD boxes and various of packaging types according to the customer’s specification of each product. The packaging quality of the company is also up to the customer’s standard, for example, the CD boxes must not be cracked or broken, all the inserted materials or booklets must be firmly placed, clear shrink wrapping film of the CD box must be perfectly wrapped on the CD boxes or the packages and so on.



5. Delivering

As soon as the packing has been done, the delivery process will begin in queue. This stage is continuous from the packing stage. The major processes at this stage are the loading and delivering all the products. To ensure all the packing products are inspected, there will be a stamp QC passed on the paper boxes and sign by the inspecting people before the loading process takes place. after that, all the products will be directed securly at its destination.
